Hello, cherished friends and supporters! It’s been a while since I last reached out, and I’m excited to take this moment to share some significant updates and heartfelt reflections from my journey.

Progress of the Phoenix Reintegration Project

We are now celebrating Week 10 of 14 week Second Chance pilot program at the Alexandria Detention Center in my hometown of Alexandria, Virginia, and it has been a truly transformative experience! Thank you Dawud Rawling, Dr Shakina Rawlings and Marco Bey-Price. We have confirmed new impact partners who will be guest speakers, including my former classmates and fellow TC Williams High School alumni—Rodrek Golden, Brian Perry, Bruce Anderson, and Percell Spinner. Their dedication to making a difference in our community is incredibly uplifting!

I would like to give special recognition to my mentor, Calvin Johnson Sr., and Brodie Crowder-Caesar for their exceptional contributions to enhancing our community. Their inspiring stories will undoubtedly resonate with our participants as they navigate their journeys toward successful reintegration. Together, we are driving meaningful change! 💪🏽💙

Exciting Personal Achievement

I am thrilled to announce that I will be receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism! 🎓 This journey has exemplified my commitment to fostering positive change, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to uplift and serve my community. Family and friends will join me in celebrating this achievement on May 17, 2025, at the Lee Recreation Center in my hometown Alexandria, VA! 🎉

Empowering Women Initiative

I am also delighted to introduce "Empowering Women United for Change!" This initiative aims to inspire and engage women from various backgrounds.
