Tasha Y Berry is a dynamic entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of experience and a passionate business coach dedicated to fostering growth and empowerment within her community. As the founder of the Phoenix Reintegration Project PRP, a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 2015, Tasha is committed to supporting returning citizens as they transition back into society. Her innovative approach emphasizes the accessibility of entrepreneurship, asserting that anyone can start anywhere, thanks to the wealth of free resources available online.
Before her current endeavors, Tasha founded and managed TBS Facility Service Group, LLC (TBS stands for :To Be of Service) with her children, a recognized Woman-Owned Small Business WOSB, an 8a graduate, a HUBZone participant, and a GSA schedule holder. As a sole owner, she skillfully navigated the complexities of the industry, building a successful enterprise that laid the foundation for her future work in business coaching and community engagement.
Tasha was part of the inaugural graduating class of the AmeriCorps VISTA program, which is affiliated with the Corporation for National and Community Service. During her service, she was assigned to Frank W Ballou High School for Mathematics and Technology located in Washington, D.C. This experience further fueled her passion for community service and empowerment.
In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Tasha is a published author. In 2019, she released her book Find My Forgiveness But No Apology through Morgan James Publishing in New York. Most recently, she launched her e-book Empowering Entrepreneurs Your Guide to Success in Federal Contracting, aimed at providing valuable insights for aspiring business owners.
With an ambitious goal of inspiring 500 businesses over the next five years, Tasha spearheads transformative initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and social progress. Her key programs include:
1. 14 Short Reentry Program: Designed for individuals reintegrating into society, this program provides job training and mentorship, equipping participants with vital skills and confidence to establish their own businesses.
2. Young Entrepreneurs From Idea to Impact: Targeting middle school students, this initiative nurtures an entrepreneurial mindset and fosters creativity and innovation from an early age.
3. Community Engagement: Focused on creating a nurturing ecosystem, this program facilitates collaboration and resource sharing among aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the complexities of starting a business.
Through a membership platform, Tasha offers a comprehensive suite of resources, including an e-book with three modules, 14 online courses, technical support services, and exclusive content designed to empower individuals on their entrepreneurial journeys.
